Inclusive and weather-resistant
Nordenham is a town of around 26,000 residents in Lower Saxony. Located close to the North Sea coast, it is exposed to demanding weather conditions, salty air and strong winds. Since the end of August, however, a new kind of wave has arrived. With a sea-blue PARK EDITION featuring a galvanised steel substructure and durable fibreglass riding surface, the town now has a pumptrack designed to perform in exactly these conditions.
We joined Werner and his team during installation to see just how quickly and efficiently a PARK EDITION can be assembled.
Let's go!
Quick to Assemble and Easy to Relocate, thanks to thoughtful modular design
Special layout for Nordenham
Day 1: construction begins
Since the subsoil here is ideal and very level, no special site preparation is required.
Working from detailed installation plans and in close coordination with production, Werner's team has a precise layout and assembly strategy. Every dimension, angle and module position has already been carefully planned.
And a custom layout does not mean additional planning costs. Visualisations and layout proposals are prepared in advance to help identify the most suitable design for each site and project.
The modules arrive on space-efficient Euro pallets and are positioned close to their final locations to streamline installation and reduce handling time. the verdict after day 1? A productive start and good progress all round.
Day 2: Making Progress
Werner and the team make an early start. Their biggest challenge today is not the installation itself, but the temperature. With conditions exceeding 30°C, summer is making its presence felt. Despite the heat, work continues steadily and the project is progressing well.
At this stage, the PARK EDITION's design details are already becoming apparent: Slightly concave riding surfaces, additional quartz-sand coating for enhanced grip, rounded edges, wide-radius turns and an inclusive, rider-friendly layout. It's easy to imagine the future riders who will soon be using the facility.
For now, though, there is still work to be done before the first laps can begin.
Day 3: Finished!
Werner's favorite moment: When the last module is inserted. This is where you can see how precisely the team has worked.
And the second favorite moment? Test drive! Test successfully passed, for Werner and his team it's time to pack their bags and after a short break, head off to the next build.
Congratulations to Nordenham!
The new sea-blue waves are more than just a visual highlight. They also provide a durable and accessible recreation facility designed for long-term use. Key benefits of the PARK Edition:
- highly weather resistant and long life expectancy
- Deep rollers, low drop height, rounded edges
- Advanced geometry: concave, 1.4m wide track
- Non-slip tread even on wet roads
- Wide curve radius for safer and faster driving
- 100% Flow and fun on all roller sports equipment!!!
