The Festival site in Bardowick is Full of Life
On 25 October 2024, together with the municipality of Bardowick, we officially opened the new Modular Pumptrack on the town's festival grounds.
And the opening was a complete success!
Numerous children, teenagers and adults attended the event to celebrate the launch of the new facility. Visitors had the opportunity to ride the track, take part in workshops and enjoy refreshments throughout the day. The highlight of the event was a performance by professional BMX rider Jannik Raykowski, who impressed the crowd with his skills and spent time encouraging and inspiring the next generation of riders.

BACK TO THE BEGINNING: PLANNING and CONSTRUCTION
The Modular Pumptrack project in Bardowick is an excellent example of collaborative planning and community involvement.
The municipality, local residents and the youth council worked together towards a shared goal: creating modern, attractive sports and leisure opportunities for the community.
When the committee decided to include a pumptrack as part of the redevelopment, we became involved in the project. Thanks to the modular design, the festival grounds can continue to host annual events while also providing a permanent recreational facility. The surrounding villages and neighbouring communities also benefit from access to the new sports infrastructure. Together with future users and local stakeholders, the decision was made to install the CLASSIC Quadragon. The layout offers maximum riding enjoyment for all age groups while providing ample space for multiple users at the same time.
"With the pump track, we have not only created an attractive leisure offer, but also shown how much power there is in the cooperation between young people, politicians and citizens."

The benefits for Bardowick and the region
Together for more movement!
The new pumptrack is the result of a collaborative project in which we provided support from planning and design through to construction and opening. Working closely with the Social Committee, local residents and the youth council of Bardowick, we contributed our expertise to help create a place that brings together movement, recreation and community life. The project was supported through funding from the "Future Package for Exercise, Culture and Health" program.
A Sports Facility for All Ages!
The pumptrack provides an exciting opportunity for people of all ages to develop balance, coordination and riding skills through play. The involvement of the youth council and the direct feedback gathered from future users helped ensure that the final result became a popular meeting place for the community.
Flexibility That Delivers Long-Term Value
One of the key advantages of the modular system is its flexibility. The pumptrack can be relocated and adapted to suit different sites and events, making it particularly suitable for changing community needs. This allows the festival grounds to remain versatile while also creating opportunities for the pumptrack to be used elsewhere within the wider Bardowick collective municipality. As a result, the investment can benefit multiple communities while continuing to provide an attractive and accessible space for physical activity.
