"Each year our systems are used between five and ten times, in cycles of varying lengths, from a weekend to a week to several months, mostly outdoors and exposed to the elements. The greatest risk to a Modular Pumptrack system is standing water or exposed areas on the wood caused by incorrect handling or poor logistics. Rarely the result of normal use. The weatherproof wood is highly durable, but not indestructible. Regular maintenance can double or even triple the service life. Beyond general wear, the riding surface shows very little fatigue. Surface chipping is rare. Dents or holes occur only very occasionally and usually only as a result of misuse."
