On September 6, 2025, the City of Erkelenz officially opened the versatile new track together with young riders and local sports enthusiasts. Designed for skateboarders, scooter users, and BMX riders alike, the facility offers space for movement, encounter and shared experience.
With the support of the District Savings Bank Heinsberg, a real meeting place for children and young people now sits at the heart of the city and local community.
Local cooperation makes the Modular Pumptrack in Erkelenz possible

The City of Erkelenz and Kreissparkasse Heinsberg have worked hand in hand to transform the former skate park into a modern Modular Pumptrack for the entire community.
In doing so, Kreissparkasse Heinsberg continues its long-standing commitment to sport, physical activity and youth development, supporting projects that bring people together.
