Congratulations, Chemnitz!
Chemnitz is not only the European Capital of Culture 2025, but has also been enjoying the new Bergstrasse recreational area in Grüna since April. Under the motto "Encounter by the Water," the facility was officially opened and handed over to the "wave professionals."
meeting place for everyone
Not just for a short visit, the area invites you to linger.
Central meeting point for all age groups
With a special focus on biodiversity, the Mittelpunkt leisure area in the village of Grüna makes a sustainable contribution to the development of the offering: the circular hiking trail and the planned premium cycle path meet here, and the pump track rounds off the offering.
Planning by "Jacob and Bilz Landscape Architects" in Chemnitz
In accordance with the wishes of the residents, the plan for the new intervention area with a variety of green spaces, a football field and a modular pump track has been drawn up.

We are very pleased to share this great success story with our Expert Cornelia Duckert from Freiraum4Life. In addition to consulting, planning, delivery, and installation, she is also there for clients after the projects are completed and lives and loves the modular pump track waves just like we do.
Are you planning an exciting, movement-friendly, inclusive, and inspiring project? We look forward to a non-binding discussion about creating even more individual movement zones.
