New Possibilities for All Wheels, Thanks to the Wider Track

Extra Wide, Extra Safe, Extra Inclusive

The extra-wide Modular Pumptrack opens up new possibilities — including, with a little practice, riding with a wheelchair . An accessible track is available in both concrete and fibreglass modules.

Practice straights without curves are particularly well suited to beginners. Ideally, these are complemented by an accompanying circular course — as demonstrated by the Schwarzenbek municipality in Germany.

The extra-wide riding surface means the pumptracks are accessible to wheelchair users too

Inclusive fun on all wheels

The Same Track, for Everyone

Children and young people who use wheelchairs do not want separate, specially adapted equipment. They want to be alongside everyone else. On the Modular Pumptrack, everyone rides the same track, in the same direction, at the same pace. All wheels welcome.

1.4m Track Width

Finished with a specialist anti-slip coating it is suitable for all types of wheeled equipment.

A perfect example installation demonstrated by Tenino City Park in Washington State, USA.

Your Options

The extra-wide track is available in the Urban Edition, the Park Edition, or as two Classic modules placed side by side. There are several configurations to suit different spaces and budgets.

How Schwarzenbek Did It

"A grant of €82,000 was awarded from the Schleswig-Holstein Accessibility Fund. The state funding was secured on the basis that the track is accessible to wheelchair users. You can ride it with anything that has wheels — roller skates, inline skates, skateboards and longboards, children's bikes and balance bikes, standard bikes and even wheelchairs."
