The best decision: With so much space, two modular pump tracks can move to Schleswig-Holstein!
Two new modular pump tracks in the Fiberglass version have been contributing to even more exercise at the skate park in the community of Schwarzenbek since this summer.
The Practice straight in combination with one World Cup layout with an extra wide 1.4 m track in a deep green is now the centerpiece and highlight for the kids.
The practice straight is ideal for getting started and getting your first feel for the waves and practicing “pumping”. Even wheelchair users can experience the flow here with a little practice.
The circuit course in the WorldCup layout promises even more variety and fast curves. The wide roadway makes the green waves safer but also faster.
Opening event
Since the official opening, visitors have been milling and rolling around the site
Record: How many kids can fit on a pump track? Full house at the opening event
What do we particularly like here?
- The combination does it: Directly at the skate park for fun on all wheels and skills
- Practice straight and circular course in combination for even more variety
- Big opening event with BMX show and workshop
- Sustainable & safe: The extra wide fiberglass version makes it possible
- For long-term use, but also partially mobile possible: For events at other locations, for example, the practice straight can be moved
A high on the track,
...which is extra non-slip thanks to the specially developed surface!
» Speed and a little thrill don't necessarily require four wheels or a driving license. You can also do a lot more with your bike than just go to work or school (…) The pump track is intended to be a new social meeting place for young people, but of course also for all other Schwarzenbekers.
Funding...?!
There are many financing options! The waves in Schwarzenbek were largely financed by the Schleswig-Holstein Accessibility Fund
“You can ride it with anything that has wheels (…) roller skates, inline skates, skateboards and longboards, children’s bikes and balance bikes, but also normal bikes and even wheelchairs are possible.”
